Everywhere you turn in Redmond, spring has sprung! Plum and cherry trees sparkle white and pink. Daffodils dot flowerbeds and primroses brighten borders throughout town. These colorful little touches remind us that Redmond has a remarkable hometown feel. Nothing exemplifies this more than our springtime traditional free egg hunt… Eggstravaganza!
Hosted by local businesses and the City of Redmond, this year the egg hunt is in its 16th year! Join in the fun from 9 to 11 on the grounds of the City Hall on Saturday, March 7th. The hunt begins promptly at 10 however plan to arrive early or linger after to enjoy arts and crafts, face painting, and more!
If, after a morning of joyous celebration, you’re still in need of some Easter treats, head a few blocks south to the Redmond Center home to one of Redmond’s most delicious businesses, Brugge’s Chocolates. Just in time for Easter they have chocolate bunnies, gift baskets for every age, and their featured spring chocolate – a strawberry balsamic.
